Lesser Deity

Lesser deity is the name for any god, Numen or otherwise, that does not sit on the main pantheon.

Lesser deities each serve under a Prime Deity. Lesser deities rise to this power when a Prime Deity breaks off a piece of their own Divine Spark and gifts it to another creature. The size of this gifted power corresponds with the level of power the lesser deity have. Deities such as Dostus, The Shining Wind have much greater power than Ungerld, The Fallen Warning as he is the sole lesser deity of Zerek, The Horizon Incarnate as opposed to Ungerld who is a lesser deity under Otris, The Wild Shepard, who herself is a lesser deity of Eysus, The Sole Gardener.

As seen with Ungerld, lesser deities can have their own lesser deities, although many choose not to as their their domains are already limited and their sparks usually much smaller, more powerful lesser deities with wide domains, like Otris or Nireos, The Grand Competitor have several deities under them, but these tend to be not much stronger than an average demigod, Numen, or ascended hero.
