Session 7 - When last We Met 10/3/22

General Summary

When last we met the party stood over the deceased Orryn Wren as Paxton continued savaging his corpse until he physically could no longer hold his sword. Instead plunging it into the midsection of the dead man. From there, Paxton thanks the party for their aid in helping him get revenge. He then wanders off towards the ruins of the town of Tulach, left in ruin by these raiders many years ago.
From there the party looted what treasures they could from the camp which were plentiful indeed. And also convinced a bear to follow your party. From there, the party rested the night in the ruins of Tulach during which Tensi and Mistral saw Paxton at peace in front of a grave before seeming to disappear before their eyes and some mysterious female figure manifested a permanent grave stone out of thin air before vanishing herself.
After that night, the party picked up their belongings and a few new mounts and headed out of the Sinna region. On the way out of town, they encountered an older Tielfing gentleman who spoke a barely understandable dialect of common but offered items to for trade. Mostly junk items but a few treasures nestled in there. After that, the party made the 1 day journey to the magical city of Tirasa.
After an encounter with some sort of magical construct guarding the gate, they entered into the city using a loophole to allow their non magical compatriots to pass undetected. Within the sensory overload that was Tirasa, they were approached by a tabaxi named Vasha who offered to read their fortunes. After proving she was not a charlatan, the party followed her into a tent where she did a Tarot reading on them where she gleaned that they were having shared dreams about hell falling upon the material plane and them losing the ultimate battle. She quickly realized that the thing that stalked their dreams was indeed The Chained Oblivion - Tharizdun - which Ivyre guessed at long before even meeting the party. Vasha instructed them to go speak to the new Lore Keeper - Calder at the Abraxios Academy, a school of magic within the city.
From there the party receives a message from beyond the grave and absconds to go meet up with Flint in the Angry Maiden Tavern. There they share a night of drinking and relaxing as Flint gives their payment as well as a message from Lady Devereaux. From there, he bids the party adieu as he heads back to his home town and his simple life. After that, the party settles down for a well earned rest in an apartment belonging to Ivyre. And that's where we pick up next time!

Flint McKellan - Halfling Ranger, brought the party their earned gold as his final task before setting off. Said to look him up next time they were in Birchnod and that Rebecca Thorn wished to speak with them when next they passed through. Does an excellent impression of a bad Sullux accent.
