Planar Indulgences One Shot
You are in the town of Wulfspire in the country of Sullux. Across the Smuggler's Sea from the more familiar shores of Auldsod. You all saw the ad, reported to the place requested and here you all are.
Character Introductions You are standing in the workshop of one Abius Graviar. A well renowned Wizard. A brilliant but eccentric individual known for being at the forefront of magical endeavors at all times. You all have been hired to assist him in an experiment of some kind. Your pay of 100gp each as well as a provision of 2 potions of healing per person have been doled out. There is one scroll of banishment - In case things get out of hand. A disgruntled looking Dwarf by the name of Bizek, as he relays the experiment "I've brought you here to aid us in our final breakthrough. Using Bizek's mastery over artificery, We have come up with a device that will harness the power of a magic user and allow the use of spells by those who are not magically inclined. Today we are testing our latest iteration of the device. This one replicates the effects of the Plane Shift spell. I have hired you lot to ensure nothing goes awry while we conduct this little experiment. You will all be shifted to the plane of Mount Celestia. A peaceful and good plane so there should be no iminent threat to your journey. You will spend 40 minutes there and be returned immediately using the device None of you are in any danger... we don't think. Just keep on your guard and everything will be fine.. most likely." The two of them move to a contraption at the far end of the chamber and begin turning knobs and cranking levers. an energetic hum begins filling the room along with some steam.
