Tua'ngara
Tua'ngara is a town on the border of the Western Woods that serves as the seat of the Kháivara Conclave. It is the largest settlement in the Western Woods, due to being relatively accessible by travelers for most of the year.
Demographics
Defences
Despite being less than half a day's journey from the edge of the woods, the path to Tua'ngara from the plains of Dreibach is difficult to navigate. The woods are thick, and several large oaks in the area have Awakened into Treants.
History
Tua'ngara was built in the middle of the Haumaru Glade, on the spot where Reshvaun Tsuun and his 119 Nuél-orokhim survivors of The Extinguishing first met the human druids living in the Western Woods. He convinced them to shelter him and the other survivors from the invading orokh forces. A Prozhg'atua that swept through the woods did some structural damage to the druids' extant villages, but it also drove the invaders permanently out of the woods. From there, the nuél-orokhim and the human druids worked together to rebuild a new settlement that both could share, which would eventually grow into the modern Tua'ngara.
Points of interest
The Khaivara Longhouse is the largest and most prominent building in Tua'ngara, as well as the tallest structure in the Western Woods.
