Besides the Sun Elf pioneers who taught them to sail, humans are by far the greatest explorers on the planet, having reached every corner of every continent. They celebrate adventure and change, and aim to be explorers, traders, and pioneers everywhere they go.
Human diaspora is nowhere near a new concept-- in fact, it's a dozen centuries old or more. Humans are wanderers, naturally, but the first humans have trouble understanding anything several orders of magnitude larger than them. Only when the first sun elves-- the Dawning Explorers-- reached their shores, did they truly spread across the full area.
