Elvira comes from the Laurëlin banking dynasty, a Cantonovan family with a long history of wealth and charity. She was briefly married to the hero Julien Hawthorne; that marriage ended when her affair with Giovanni Verdini was discovered. She now lives in Cantonova with her wife Anna Opelina.
