Laëtitia La'Fromboise

Physical Description

Special abilities

Familiar Binding Contract!

I Invoke Thee, Oh Great Circe! Hear My Voice & Obey my Command!

Laëtitia has a Contract with the Familiar known as Circe, often referred to as the Goddess of Witchcraft. Summoning Circe yields no significance in a battle but her knowledge on Magic and Alchemy is unrivaled, even among Familiars. If she happens to choose a Master, they are routinely summoned to her Realm as her Student where she imparts great knowledge upon them.

Specialized Equipment

Energy Armor

Because Laëtitia is an imperfect clone of her sister, Estelle, she cannot process Magical Energy as efficiently as most Knights which leads to her unintentionally wasting much of her own energy. To remedy this she was given the Energy Armor, a mock prototype set of armor designed to siphon up excess Magical Energy to gather and store her escaping energy for use later.

Potion Farm

Laëtitia carries a special waist device that is capable of containing 50 Potion Balls. These Potion Balls are prepared beforehand and are condensed into a small powder ball form. Once pressure, such as squeezing it, is applied they grow in size, recovering their liquid qualities. Because Laëtitia is an Alchemist she prepares these potions herself and can even modify them by combining them together. However, she will only have roughly 50 potions at a time, so spending them wisely is paramount.

Personal history

The Woman From Nowhere

Jean-Noël La'Fromboise was the last of his line and the CEO of Lumbardi Yards, a Starship yard founded by his great grandfather. However, due to the genetic determination of his cells, Jean-Noël was unable to reproduce naturally. To remedy this he had his Board of Directors develop the SUCCESSOR project which sought to engineer an heir to his family's legacy.   The project was largely successful and yielded the perfect daughter, Estelle La'Fromboise who was set to supersede her father. And from Estelle's mold, an additional, imperfect clone was cast. She was unnamed and only left alive to serve as a back organ dispensary should her sister ever be wounded. This is because Estelle had an incredibly delicate and complex organ system. The maid responsible for taking care of the clone is the one who named her Laëtitia La'Fromboise, but this was to make identifying them easier.   Laëtitia and Estelle grew up in lavish mansions and expensive palaces, their family was a prized asset to the Future War Empire after all. Despite this, Laëtitia's life was no easier. She and Estelle were not allowed to be seen in public together and Estelle's needs and wants always took president over Laëtitia's. The worst of the treatment was in the constant reminder that she was disposable, her life ranked lower than Estelle's.   Through it, all Laëtitia suffered but remained strong, not for herself, but for her sister. She and Estelle shared a special connection, one of true sisterhood, and cared deeply for each other. Their father put so much stress on Estelle to fit the mold of the CEO, to make the right connections with the right people to keep the family in good graces with the Empress. She couldn't even decide what to wear or how or to whom she speaks, but her relationship with Laëtitia, was something she could control.   However, on some expedition where the family was visiting a facility on an ice planet, they were struck by a freak ice storm, one that threatened to trap them under an avalanche. During this tragedy, Estelle and Laëtitia were trapped together under a piece of equipment that would soon crush them both. Laëtitia, forever selfless, used her body as a shield to save Estelle's life, just long enough for help to arrive. Laëtitia was deemed too damaged to be saved, and left behind to die in the ice.   Laëtitia accepted her fate, dying knowing that she saved her sister but awoke in an Iron Palace in the presence of Lady Eptiopadia Kespiea, an Iron Knight who saved her life.

Relationship Reasoning

Laëtitia and Balthazar share a common weakness, or strength, depending on how you look at it; they care deeply for their friends and allies. There are no limits or lines they won't cross to save the ones they love, both are extremely selfless and courageous without hesitation. Because that is what it means to be an Iron Knight, to be the strength of others. Balthazar does carry too much on his shoulders from time to time and Laëtitia is always there to remind him he isn't walking this path alone.
