St. Andral's Church

On the western edge of Vallaki, this centuries old church shows it's age with a slouching roof, walls lined with cracked stained glass windows, and a bulging steeple in the back. These signs of decay are contrasted by a well-tended garden with colorful blooming flowers by the entrance which seems to indicate it is also well-loved.   In the side yard, a garden of gravestones are enclosed within a small wrought iron fence and a thin mist creeps between the gravestones.

History

Father Petrovich preaches nightly regarding the saving grace of the Morning Lord but harbors a secret that terrifies him. The bones of St. Andral that sanctified and protected the church have been stolen. He knows that his altar boy, Yeska, knows who took them, because Yeska is the only other person besides the priest that knew their location. He shared that information, in confidence, to mollify the nightmares that haunt Yeska. Upon questioning, Yeska admitted that he told someone, but refused to say who he told. Father Petrovich suspects his other assistant, Milivoj, but has been afraid to confront the mecurial young man whose siblings suffer in poverty.   The party has since uncovered that Milivoj did steal the bones for fifty silver paid by Henrik Van Der Voort.
