Campaign: The Rise of an Empire
Third Era, 2096-13-4, last winter month and last month of the year.
The Cajenian League, pirates and the Moon Church initiated a joint infiltration mission to check on the Tikhuphri project advancement and discovered it was successfully concluded. The Arkadhian New Empire achieved a primitive form of energy circuitation.
Following the discovery, the Empire is now preparing for war, or, at least, this is what everyone believes. The whole Arkadhian Institute of Technology would be working no-stop with the Shadow Court to find military applications. Mining of energised crystals would have increased and large amount of it transferred to the capital. Even though every person in the world believes this, there is no certain news.
Discussions raised, instead, about the infiltration mission. A pirate, a Cajenian officer and two Moon church agents succeeded in sneaking inside the Empire, disguised as merchants. They successfully infiltrated the capital and the Institute of Technology, found a magitech machinery and destroyed it, bringing home some of its pieces.
Some believe it never happened since there's no way someone could sneak under Shadow Court's nose. Who saw the gears and cables, or knows the infiltrators, is worried about their success. Why did they succeed, why was security so low, why were they not chased longer are the main open questions.
Whatever the case, the discovery had consequences on other countries and organizations, now preparing for the imminent war.
