Kazahn
Founded long even before the former capital city of Horounos, Kazahn is a bastion to scholars throughout the world. It is home to no fewer than three great libraries, and more than a dozen colleges comprise its vast university. Year round, scholars are welcomed to audit a seemingly never-ending curriculum of courses, on subjects as diverse as natural, political, and arcane sciences, philosophy, languages and linguistics. In addition to direct scholarly pursuits, the city houses thriving guilds of paper makers, book binders, and scriveners, all of which provide a steady export in trade via its Kesh river port.

Kazahn's primary export is knowledge. In addition to the vast and elaborate University, it is home to several enormous libraries, and scholars from the length and breadth of Nymrii travel here to access it's wealth of tomes, treatises, and scrolls. Their primary physical exports are paper, blank tomes, and hand-enscribed copies of many of the libraries' most treasured volumes.

Natural Resources
The river, Qesh, brings fresh water, a bounty of fish, and life. Date palms and more exotic fruit trees thrive along it's banks, along with a plenitude of wildlife; Antelope, deer, water buffalo, and wild goats, ibis, spoonbill, bower birds, quail and peafowl, as well as several species of monkey all make their homes here, either perennially, or year-round.
