Pallorin of the United Kingdom

The Pallorin of the United Kingdom (also called Her Majesty's Pallorin) is the devolved humanoid government based in the United Kingdom (UK). It works slightly differently from the Government of the United Kingdom since it is not a political party, nor is it a government department. Instead, the UK Pallorin acts as a fourth body in Parliament that makes sure that governmental policies are also beneficial to humanoids and humanides (collectively called humanoids).
The UK Pallorin works in Parliament and mirrors how the UK Government runs. It is run by the Lead Inquisitor, who chooses their senior team to mirror the Government's Cabinet. The Pallorin is split into departments and executive agencies that help put policies regarding humanoids and humanides into action. Governmental departments operate directly under the Pallorin, while executive agencies are semi-independent of the Pallorin.

Public Agenda

The UK Pallorin works in Parliament to oversee how policies are being made to help humanoids and humanides (collectively known as humanoids). They make sure the Government's decisions are fair towards humanoids, efficient and transparent (so all the necessary information is known to everyone). The UK Pallorin also represents the UK abroad when talking about policies and laws relating to humanoids.

History

Humanoid Integration

When humanoids arrived on Earth in the 9th century, humans had already developed many civilisations, so humanoids integrated with these cultures so that they wouldn't be harmed. In this way, they were passive observers of human culture, which allowed them to learn more about humans so that they could cooperate with each other.   However, human governments weren't catered to humanoids. Humanoids needed laws that understood their needs and wants. Crime was rampant in humanoid communities because people were using their powers to hurt others. While there was some form of humanoid government in many countries, they had to operate in secret to hide their powers from curious humans. This meant that they weren't as effective as they would have been.

Global Governmental Reform

Towards the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, humans finally discovered the existence of humanoids, as crime took a sharp increase. Humans started trying to kill humanoids for invading their planet, while humanoids defended themselves and took advantage of humans' lack of powers. To rectify this, many humanoid governments across the world merged and created one global governmental body, known as the Global Pallorin. The Global Pallorin isn't necessarily a government in itself, but was more of a body that oversaw how each humanoid government was doing in their country. It is based in Alicante Bay, New Galilea.   After the reform, the Global Pallorin created humanoid departments some countries so they could work alongside their respective government.

Formation of the United Kingdom's Pallorin

In the 1940s, a Humanoid Department was created in the United Kingdom during the First World War. They were originally created as an extra department in the Government and aided the UK with humanoid matters during the 20th century. However, in the 1990s, the Humanoid Department held a referendum of devolution, because there were many issues facing humanoids that one department couldn't solve alone. This led to the formation of the UK Pallorin, which became semi-independent of the UK Government.
