Alicante Bay

The capital city of Galilea

Alicante Bay is the capital city of New Galilea in northern Europe and is where the Pallorin is based. Sometimes referred to as Alicante, this city is built primarily on electrum and other metals that can be mined underground. Many of its buildings have large glass panels that make the city seem like there are mirrors everywhere. This gives the city a distinct feeling from other cities around the world, and even in Galilea itself.

Demographics

Alicante Bay is generally seen as a rich area because there are plenty of wealthy people who live there. While most of these are Shadowhunters who worked in the Pallorin, there are also investors, banks and entrepreneurs living there.   Although many people visit the city, Alicante tends to be closed off for many ordinary Humans to live there, due to being isolated in Galilea and the fact that the Pallorin made it a strictly Humanoid place.

Government

As Alicante is the capital city of Galilea, it is run exclusively by the Pallorin. It is one of the only places on Earth not run by a dual government.

Districts

While Alicante Bay is famous for the rich people it houses in Galilea, there are also plenty of poor districts hidden in the suburbs of the city. These places are filled with flats stacked upon each other and they tend to be densely populated. If people travel to Alicante by boat, the suburbs are the areas they would see first.

Natural Resources

Alicante Bay is home to electrum, one of the metals that the city uses to create Shadowhunter weaponry. It can also be used, in addition to steel, to create cutlery.
