Katarina Leocadia the I is the elected Empress of the Imperial Federation. Her personal fief is the sparkworld Megara. She controls the wealth and vast military of the Peerage, and access to the most advanced tech in the Federation.

General Physical Condition

Because of time dilation, Katarina Leocadia is biologically 28. She is noted to be in extraordinary health even without her implants.

Specialized Equipment

Katarina has humanity's most advanced military and cognitive implants, making her effectively superhuman. It is unknown exactly what modifications have been made to her body, but she has pulled tanks apart with her bare hands, outpaced cars and dodged bullets.

The Savior

Katarina's Imperial flagship is The Savior, the largest warship ever built, literally a class of it's own. The Savior's true capabilities are unknown, since it has never needed to use its full power in combat, but it is enough to single-handedly crush a fleet.

The Dragoon

Katarina has stable of personal battlemechs and power armors, but the Dragoon is best known. A sleek 7-meter behemoth, it is the battlegear of choice for the Empress. Quick enough to dodge missiles and defensive fire, the Dragoon can take on heavy cruisers by itself.

Personal history

Katarina Leocadia is the only living member of House Leocadia, when her father Jakub Leocadia passed away when she was only a child. As a youth, she became an adventurer, traveling in the frontiers of space doing odd jobs on a shockingly humble Series III Mercury Light Freighter, where it is known she spent a decade in Nocte Ventus.
At the start of the Federation Civil War, Katarina Leocadia returned to attend the Conference of Avignon  . While not the most powerful or natural choice, Leocadia turned out to be the compromise candidate and was elected as the first Empress  .

Intellectual Characteristics

It is unknown what Katarina's natural intellectual abilities are, but even before becoming Empress, Katarina had access to the extraordinarily advanced neuro-enhancers. She has perfect memory recall, the ability to learn a language just by listening to samples of it, and proficiency with every known skill.
