The Intercolonial Senate in Avignon elects Katarina Leocadia as Empress of the Federation. The Avignon Federation officially recognizes titles granted by the Peerage as legal and rightful marks of nobility. Katarina claims descent from Rowan Cyprianus and thus her legitimacy to the new Throne. She promises those who pledge loyalty to her will be well treated.
