The King of Days and The Queen of Nights waged war against the The Ancient Dark and its minions.
In the end, they managed to defeat them and push them towards the edge of the multiverse.
In the year that followed the War Against the Dark, The King of Days and The Queen of Nights reunited for the first time The Court of Stars and created Nimbaar and all the living beings that inhabit it.
The prehistoric age of Nimbaar, when humanoids formed the first civilizations, received gifts from the gods, and fought against the great monstrosities that ruled the land.
For the first time The King of Days raises from his throne to shine his light over Nimbaar.
Later that day, The Queen of Nights and the other gods illuminate the night sky for the first time.
From [...] to the creation of the first Floating City.
The current era
By this time most countries have at least one floating city.
The Coatulese dragons decide that the dwarven city of Gjelarg is too close to their mountains, so they attack it and destroy it.
The royal family dies in the attack.
Survivors from Gjelarg reach Oswand, looking for help against the dragons.
The Oswandish manage to rally most of the other countries to fight against the dragons.
The dragons destroy many of the Floating Cities closest to Coatul, and noone manges to invade their mountains, so the war comes to a stalemate.
Threatening to destroy many more cities, the dragons demand that every other country gives them 1000 of their citizens as prisoner.
After years of discussions and intestine wars, the other countries accept the dragons' demand, and the war is over.
The Holy Empire of Veneastra recruits the Thranian mercenaries to attack some of the easternmost territories controlled by Coatul.
They claim that the creation of dragonborns is an offense to the gods.
Toghether thay manage to push west most of the Coatulese forces.
The Veneastran emperor gives the largest landmass they manage to conquer as payment to the mercearies.
The Obalius Empire attacks the southern cities of the Andranes Republic, looking to expand their territory.
The Obalian manage to conquer some land, but are pushed back when the Andranesi recruit some Thranian mercenaries to fight for them.
Taking advantage of the temporary weakness of the Andranesi, Nesserreich attack the Kingdom of Gaosha.
The Nesserian army manages to conquer the single floating city owned by Gaoshan, which was gifted to them by the Andranes Republic.
The Gaoshans, conscious that they would lose the war, engineer an explosion on the Aer engine of the floating city, destroying it together with the enemy army. The aer-infused ruins of the city still float in The Mist south west of Gaosha.
This act is condemned by almost every other country, but puts an end to the war.
50 years after the destruction of Gjelarg, New Gjelarg and the fortress city that surround it are elevated into the sky by the Gjelargan Bankocracy.
By this time every country that managed to build Floating Cities has completely moved to the sky.
The Below is considered dead and abandoned.
The Dragon Overlord of Coatul declare war to the rest of Nimbaar, and attack the Gjelargan Bankocracy and other nearby territory.
Every other country joins the war and help repelling the attack. The Coatulese army is pushed back, but not defeated.
For the first time warforged are used in actual war.
After capturing some soldiers during the Dragons' Revenge, Beran'Jaran mages manage to understand part of the process used to transform people into dragonborns.
They apply a similar process to some humans and create the first changelings.
By mind controlling this shapeshifters, the Magocracy begins to extend an incredibly powerful spy network through other countries inside and outside The Thriatic Threaty.
After having seen warforged fight during the Dragons' Revenge, the Holy Empire of Veneastra declares that they are actual living beings, and the act of creating them and controlling them is against the will of the gods, just like the creations of dragonborns.
They demand that Oswand stops building them and destroy the magical forges, otherwise the Holy Empire would launch a new crusade against them.
The Beran'jaran Magocracy, which has ties to both countries, manages to convince Oswand to stop creating new warforged, freeing the ones that already exist, and giving them control over the forges. In exchange, the Holy Empire would retire their war declaration.
Fearing that the Holy Empire of Veneastra could discover the changelings, and treat the Beran'jaran Magocracy as they did with Coatul and Oswand, the shapeshifters are liberated from the spell that binded them to the mages that created them, and their memories are alterated.
The Beran'Jaran spy network and the research on the process of creation of dragonborns are abandoned.
The immortal dragon Xicothencal, former sovereign of the Third Mountain of Coatul, is defeated and erased from this world by some crewmembers of the Wolf's Fang.
