Gjelargan Bankocracy
The Gjelargan Bankocracy is the most recently founded country in Nimbaar.
It is inhabited mostly by dwarves, but members of every other species can be found in its Floating Cities.

Structure
The country is governed by the bankers, strictly organized, with a complex bureaucracy that substituted most of the functions previously held by nobility.
Many nobles still own the title they had before the death of the royal family, altough nowadays that doesn't grant them any special status or treatment.

History
The first floating cities that the dwarves created were close to Coatul, too close according to the dragons.
They attacked the dwarven kingdom of Gjelarg, and destroied it, along with the royal family and most of the people who lived there.
The dwarven king had struck great debts with an important bank, to acquire all the materials he needed to raise almost all of his kingdom in the sky, and even greater ones to pay for the war effort against the dragons.
When the royal family died, none of their relatives wanted to pick up their debts, so the bank gained ownership of all the remaining lands of the king, reorganized them and started building their own floating cities, further away from Coatul.

In the later years, many people from other countries moved to the Gjelargan Bankocracy, as the bank created many new job opportunities, and a significant amount of dwarves left the country, especially many descending from ancient nobility.

The Bankocracy has a large main floating landmass, surounded by many, strategically placed Floating Cities, built like fortresses around it.
It is south of Coatul and south-west of every other country.
Religion
The Maker holds the most important position in the faith of the Bankocracy, as it did before the end of the dwarven kingdom.
Foreign Relations
Being a relatively new country, the Bankocracy has neutral relations with most other countries.
Most of the people still hate the dragons of Coatul, but there haven't been conflict with them in ages.
The old royal family had ties to the lords of Oswand, which do not trust the bank, and have not yet renewed diplomatic relations with the country.

Both agriculture and industry are strictly organized by the bank, as part of their economic plan to rebuild the country.
