Session 51 - Fallen Castle
General Summary
The party was in the middle of a turning point in the final battle! Their allies charged into the fray. Liberty Knights, Murks, and Riders exchanged blows, and during all of the commotion, Hamilton Caldwell passed away. He died amongst the attack, and once Sasha and Finn noticed, they each took it their own ways. Finn fell to the ground, holding his friend, while Sasha aimed her grief toward Talon. Talon ran off into the swamps, seeing his Knights losing the battle, and Sasha and Finn gave chase! They chased him to the Sinkhole, where he tackled Finn down into it. The two struggled until Sasha fired a couple shots into him. Sasha, with Osho's help, pulled Finn up from the Sinkhole, as Talon was dragged in and crushed under the pressure of dirt and stone. Sasha, Finn, and Osho hurried back to the Castle, where they were welcomed by the sight of the remaining Knights having surrendered. Gavin Weaver was there as well. Before they could rally everyone out of the Castle, it was too late. The bomb ignited and destroyed the Castle in a violent explosion, knocking our heroes unconscious. Hamilton found himself in a pasture, with a familiar woman before him. He approached her, who turned to show herself as Abigail, and the two embraced. They talked for a bit before she told Hamilton it wasn't yet his time. Hamilton fell back, and suddenly awoke in the same pasture, but this time he had Sasha and Finn lying beside him. All three of them were wearing white robes. As they recovered, and Finn embraced Hamilton seeing him alive, the three noticed their wounds they had sustained during the battle were gone. Looking around, they saw a shoreline nearby, and in the distance, evidence of Liberty Castle's ruins. It was clear the trio weren't on Nevurdul anymore...
