Session 43 - Burning Snow
General Summary
The Misfits arrived in Cliff's Edge! Sinclair gave the crew 40 gold and headed off to prepare the Kindred. Two bratty children messed with the crew, trying to take Hamilton's gun. When he refused, the kid went and got Vidar, who was quite happy to see "his best friends''. Vidar welcomed them all, and brought them into Brondby's for a warm drink. Finn tried to greet Brondby, but ended up breaking some of her dishes. Sasha and Hamilton warmed up, and Vidar asked them to come to the Hall of Heroes to discuss a private matter, before walking away. The crew took some time to explore Cliff's Edge, getting a Cragsteel Shortsword, a bear pelt, and some bolts and arrows. They also discovered a man named Muskvad knew that Talon is dead. After this, they met with Vidar and learned that the only reason he allowed Goodwin to come to Cliff's Edge is because a boy named Guftuk had shown dangerous signs of being magical. Vidar said he doesn't trust the Guard, and to keep an eye out for any mischief. Vidar then had a heart-to-heart with Sasha, where she told him about Osho and the Knights and Vidar told her about Lecter. Hamilton learned that Finn had forgotten most of who Angela was and Finn said he was okay with not remembering. The crew and Vidar all went to Brondby's, where they met up with Eleanor. Hamilton asked to talk to her, and the two had a nice chat about their recent experiences and who they are becoming. Sasha got drunk. Goodwin's show commenced, and people seemed to enjoy it! Guftuk, sitting in the front, got up part way through the show to use the restroom. By the end of the show, when Goodwin was receiving questions, Sasha drunkenly told him about Osho and the Knights, and that they needed his help. Goodwin seemed to agree to help for a price, but was interrupted by a Guard informing him that the Kindred had gone missing! At the same time, a Cliff's Edge citizen came and told Vidar that Guftuk was also missing!
