Session 42 - Interrogation
General Summary
The party was met face-to-face with a patrol of Liberty Knights. They reluctantly complied with their demands to exit the carriage]. In a series of tense moments, the Misfits were stripped of their belongings and their carriage was searched. The head of the patrol showed signs that he recognized the party... and they had no choice but to act. Sasha made a dive for the basket containing their weapons, and Hamilton activated the Robot, causing it to tear apart most of the Knights inside their carriage. From there, a massive battle took place, which saw Sasha and Hamilton get quite bloodied. In the end, they knocked the Officer unconscious. Only two Knights were able to get away. The final Knight was brutally killed by Sasha using Hamilton's pistol. They then dragged the Officer's body into the carriage for later questioning. With that, the Misfits cleaned out their carriage and, per Sinclair's request, got back on the road. Hamilton sat up front with Finn, and was able to patch him up a bit. After that, Hamilton told Finn about his deceased wife, Abigail. Sasha and Eleanor quietly scrubbed the blood out of the carriage floorboards. Later, while Sasha was alone in the carriage, the Officer, who they found out is named Foster stirred to consciousness. Sasha interrogated Foster, which ended when Foster was able to read her like a book and push all the right buttons until Sasha brutally murdered him. Afterwards, Finn comforted Sasha, and they continued in their way in silence. When they arrived at the volcanic pits, the party elected to take Peanut up, but leave the carriage behind in a safe spot. They all piled into Sinclair's heat-resistant carriage and went up the mountain. On their way, they began freezing from the extremely cold weather. The party was finally able to arrive at Cliff's Edge, to their relief…
