Session 40 - Freedom!

General Summary

The party fought off a bunch of goblins. Hamilton collapsed during the fight, but ultimately everyone made it out okay. Christian rushed out and let the party rest in the farmhouse. Hamilton, wanting to learn how to fix any future damage Finn sustains, was pointed toward Everdeen Woodworking. There, he learned a little on patching up Servos. Sasha and Finn rested for a bit, then went out to meet up with Hamilton at the HansPuckett, to get the final vote from Namid. With a little convincing, they were able to get a vote from him. Hamilton went to Samantha to tell her that they got all the votes, while Sasha and Finn cracked open the box to count the votes ahead of time. They came to the conclusion that Eleanor would be let free, but Amber would be put to death. Hamilton and Samantha shared a moment together, before Sasha came in and gave the box to Samantha. Meanwhile, Finn sent a guard to speak with Samantha, then went into Amber's tent, where he confronted her about everything. He learned that Amber is a member of The Order, and she did what she did to protect Eleanor. Finn, in the heat of the moment, let Amber free and convinced her to want to live. Then, as Samantha and the Merto Company discovered the missing prisoner and began searching the area, the party (including Eleanor) hopped onto the carriage and sped away…
