Deep Elves

Deep in the bowels of Sol traverse one of the more mysterious elven races, the Deep Elves. They are a race of inventors, technicians, and builders and are known for their love of logic and innovation. They are an underground race, having many great cities and workshops in the Underdark. Unlike the Night Elves and other underground races, they have never been keen on warfare and diplomacy, preferring to be left alone to build and tinker. The Deep Elves are a culture that lacks spirituality, they believe the gods exist but they do not see them as beings to be venerated but rather entities to challenge and overcome; they have no temples or shrines, but rather they scatter their complex maze cities with workshops and laboratories. They are spread far and wide in the Underdark, but their geographical core is under the mountains of Vurturum where the Dwarves make their home. The two races have an unsteady peace and often experience tensions.
