The Doipu Cafy Telepathy and What We Know
One of the side effects of the symbiotic relationship with the Doipu Cafy is the rare occurrence of telepathic communications. It is a form of communication that is not understood by the medical and scientific communities, and isn't discussed outside of those few hosts whom the doipu cafy have shared this with. It is therefore, still an enigma with many questions surrounding it.

It is believed that the connection or bond that it shares with a host allows communication of more than just thoughts, but also vitals and other genetic markers. There is even a study that is undergoing that examines why one host is better than another for the doipu cafy. Whenever they are asked about the telepathic ability, however, every host seems to get lost in thought and then abruptly changes the subject to something completely different that was discussed earlier.
It is also noted that none of the medical or scientific community have ever been selected as a host, even if they appear to be a perfect host in all other regards. It is believed that the doipu cafy can somehow discern a specific thought process that is shared between all of those in these two communities, or perhaps there is a specific wavelength that is shared in common due to the logical approaches that they take. Regardless of these working theories, the symbiotic bond has never been experienced by the medical or scientific communities.

When pressed to explain the connection, there have been cases where the host has become lethargic to comatose with one individual lapsing into a coma for months and the doipu cafy dying immediately upon the coma. It has since been explored without more than a question or two to the symbiotic pair to avoid any long lasting damage to either individuals.
