Diplomacy
Historically, Et'ens have a longstanding rivalry with the
Crimson Sands culture, particularly the parts of the former
Mukala Dominion that were absorbed by
House Mekulet.
However, Et'cha is currently experiencing an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity. This is because the island is the primary landing point between the two powerhouses of the current age: the
Triamic Empire and the
Inzalu Empire. That means that they control most of the trade and diplomacy that goes through their ports. Et'cha has a working alliance with both major empires... historically, the larger and more powerful Triamics bullied them mercilessly, but now they know doing so would only provoke the Inzalu. Even as tensions rise and fall between the two powerhouse empires, Et'cha, as the neutral party between them, reaps the benefits with little fear of reprisal.
