Dustmane Company

The Dustmane Company is a large mercantile organization concerned with promoting trade through the Trans-Mundic Trade Route.
The Dustmane Company is always looking for new workers, and though the pay can be very compelling, the rate of turnover is quite high. The trade route is quite long and full of dangers, both along the open plains and the settlements that dot the path. The threat of raids and monster attacks is everpresent, and the settlements along the route are rife with thieves and con artists.

Operations

The Dustmane Company hirs people in many different fields, such as engineers and labourers to maintain the road infrastructure, caravan runners, guards and assorted personnel for the shipments of goods, as well as professional soldiers, bounty hunters and monster slayers to keep the road clear of setzá raiders, bandits, and dangerous creatures.
The company maintains around a dozen trade posts along the trade route, and they are the exclusive suppliers for an even larger amount of independent roadside inns, fortified caravan rests and towns.

Dried fruit, dyes and tropical hardwood crafts from from the forests of Sheohil and Ishmielie.

Dried meat, salt and slaves from the empire of Ras.

Fulminic salt, armor and weapons of steel from the dwarves of the Worldscar Mountains.

Arcanophages, tar and furs from the Forest of the Ancients.

Wool and salted fish from the Sea of Sorrows.
