Bed

A Stenza bed consists of a pile of furs and hides from various animals. Size varies quite a bit, as it is custom for each sleeper to construct something fit to their needs. Beds in guest quarters, however, are fit to average male, female, and child sizes.
Pups do not require beds, being in the habit of grouping together for sleep wherever they find themselves (although when they attempt to subsume a sleeping adult into their pile, often resulting in pups scattered all over the poor sleeper, they can be found on a bed). Therefore Stenza do not begin making their own beds until early childhood, as part of their informal education.
The bedding furs are packed up and carried along, or loaded onto clan ships in preparation for migration, rebuilt either nightly or in one place, respectively, and then packed up again and unloaded upon return to Mudewei.
