Fountain
The Fountain is located in the Moon pole, named after all the natural geysers of the region. The region is also home to many geothermal vents, and this provides an almost limitless source of renewable energy to power the city. The people were able to build a lot of infrastructure to provide for everyone, and rarely does anyone living in Fountain want for anything. It was also built as vertically as possible, and has a lot of skyscrapers that legends say grow a little taller each year due to the Moon's natural and constant gravity. It has even been said that the current Citadel, the current tower where the ruling council meets often is actually the second the Citadel, with the former one's foundations having faltered during an earthquake, giving the Moon enough leverage to pull it from the ground and take it all the way up to itself. Needless to say, the upwards gravity is so strong here that people have to wear anti-gravity boots to stay on the ground!
The ruling council of the Fountain consists of the leaders of each of its 22 communes. Each commune stays in a distinct part of the city, with each part of the city provided with everything it could need, from having a station in the anti-gravity railway system to having its own hospital. Each commune has its own internal rules and practices, but most of them involved people doing whatever they can and want to for the city, with the more unsavory duties performed in shifts.
