Khedric Giantbasher
Khedric Giantbasher is the greatest monster hunter in the world. Growing up in the Citadel Felbarr before moving to Waterdeep, the now middle-aged Khedric always believed he was meant for tremendous things. He continues to strive to live up to his clan name and to become a consummate warrior. The stocky dwarf stands no more than four feet tall but is nearly as wide, with a thick red beard covering him from chin down to knees. Khedric is nearly all muscle and almost no brain. This has made him a highly skilled Caravan Guard who is rumored to be on the shortlist for a promotion to captain.
Khedric eventually migrated to Mythrite as part of the second large wave to enter the city. He hopes to use his time on the guard to gain experience and renown for his illustrious deeds of heroism. Upon arriving in Mythrite, Khedric makes his way to the Mythrilgrist section of Mythrite to be with his kin. He currently lives in the group housing where he spends his nights training. He earns a fair wage and while he often spends money nearly as fast as he gains it; he has been able to keep a decent standard of living keeping him in the city’s working class.
He is known for his outlandish remarks and tall claims, regularly insisting that he has accomplished feats of extraordinary stature such as killing a storm giant with a single thumb, or battling back ancient dragons while blindfolded, often switching stories halfway through. Many people brush off his bold remarks, preferring to leave the man to his own ramblings. Khedric looks forward to his day each morning. He hopes that today will be the day that he gets the chance to face a true challenge and show the town his real skill. Khedrick tends to stay away from most other people, and only interacts with the people that have shown themselves as capable. His blunt demeanor has given him a reputation around town for being an aloof but reliable friend if you can earn his respect.
