Rahg Nhaseeder
Rahg Nhaseeder was born in a small village nearby a large city. In the village, his father taught him at a young age how to forge ores into usable metal, and metal into tools and weapons. Rahg grew to love the activity, and tirelessly worked alongside his father to provide metal products to the village.
Rahg never stopped smithing as he grew older. When his father could no longer help him grow his skills, he urged Rahg to work in the nearby city as an apprentice blacksmith, where he could build his reputation and his skills. And so he continued growing his skillset, working with many different types of metals for many different types of projects. After turning 20 years old, Rahg and his mentor concluded he was skilled enough to set out on his own.
He returned to his hometown, where he once again worked with his father, who was growing ever older, age slowly decaying his ability to smith. It wasn't long before Rahg took over the family business, and his father retired.
Some years later, both his parents had passed peacefully, and Rahg found himself mostly alone; his life was the forge, and always had been. He worked more years away until he heard a rumor of an area rich with Mythril, a metal he had never heard of before. He saw an opportunity to grow his skills even further, and began dreaming of being the best blacksmith. Invigorated with new passion, without any social or familial ties to his village, he departed for Mythrite, where he aimed to become the most renowned blacksmith to work with Mythril.
Once he arrived, he quickly set up a place to work. Soon after, he met Alora Cazana, and fell in love for the first time in his life. However, he was so consumed by his work that he often neglected this relationship, and despite his love for Lorrie, the relationship ultimately ended. Rahg has resented her ever since, believing his work is very important and should be one's primary focus, not to be interrupted by love; she felt quite the opposite.
Rahg has spent most of his time since then alone, but spends much of his freetime drinking with Brem Boneslayer, the first and only true friend he made in Mythrite.
Rahg mostly keeps to himself, and forges whatever people pay him to forge - no matter who pays or what they want. Many people think he is a cold-hearted man, or one who has no emotion; in truth, Rahg is a troubled man, who's so fixated on his work that he doesn't make time to release emotion, or know how to even do so properly. He thinks himself a hopeless romantic, wanting true love, but is unwilling to make time for it. Being unable to properly express himself, he often finds working in the forge a good distraction or release, and thus continues the cycle.
