Ritual of Vorgeirak

Inspiration from Colombia Games

A ritual spell by which a Priest of Agrik can brand a Wardog with a symbol which transforms it into a Hellhound if certain special conditions are met.

This ritual spell is most commonly used by the Order of the Fuming Gate who use it to boost it's sponsored Fighting Order the Copper Hook Warriors fighting strength or as guards around especially holy sites. Occasionally they release a hound on to the border villages in the Kingdom of Kanday to provoke a reaction.

The Order of the Eight Demons and Order of Hepra the Mace use this ritual very rarely.

Components and tools

To be performed using a suitable holy book.

The ritual is contained in the Caniconus Rarixa and the Vorgeirak scrolls both held by the Order of the Eight Demons and the Temple of Hepra the Mace.

Most of the Order of the Fuming Gate holy texts contain this ritual and a copy is inscribed in stone in the Ceremonial Hall of the Temple of Agrik in Hyen Keep on the border of the Kingdom of Rethem.
