Manse of the Sanguine Saltire
This ancient building dates back to the founding of the city and contains extensive genealogical records of Western nobility dating back to the earliest days of the Corani Empire.
It is also the residence of Rethem’s Chief Herald and the meeting place of Rethemi College of Heralds.
The Manse is considered neutral ground with respect to political and religious issues and even the King must gain permission to enter. The Heralds are part of an international diplomatic organization that grants them many privileges which are acknowledged and honored by all kings and most nobility.
