Verdantia dagger

The Verdantia dagger is the name given to the type of blade coming out of the Dwarven hold of Verdantia, It is famous for its red colour of metal that the blacksmiths can create. The metal is just as strong as human steel but less refined than Elvish, still, it has made it a much sought-after metal by humans and elves, the humans for its quality and being easily mendable and the elves seek it for aesthetic purposes that the red metal can bring and its often used as part of jewellery.
When it became public knowledge that the Imperial Guard cadet Azran would be elevated to equestrian status, for reasons that the Imperial Palace still keeps secret, One blacksmith in Verdantia received a commission from Crown Princess Ira for a dagger to be made, the details were left mostly to the Blacksmith herself but details such as minimal length and weight as well as while it should be decorated it should still maintain a level of practicality.
Being recently completed, the dagger is currently being transported by a trusted employee of the blacksmith but with Verdantia being located at the far end of the Empire of Dercia it will be months before it arrives at the destination of the Crown Princess, which is currently living in the minor town of Nicia where she supports the current governor Azran in ruling the town and surrounding area.
While the details of the dagger were minimal, it was stated in the letter to the blacksmith that the intended purpose of the dagger was to be a gift from Ira to Azran when it arriving.
