Session 4

After killing a town guard and a member of the clandestine The Sovereign's Shadow, the Party returned the prisoner to The Fool only to find out that she was actually Jencerys's cousin. This welcome bit of news, coupled with the events at Siverward Keep, led to the Party being told to keep a low profile as guard patrols in the town were increased. The Party made one more stop at The Godly Mice Inn to pick up Thurgramm Hammersmith before headed to Creti's for any last minute items. As they were walking out of the emporium, however, a guard approached them, as members of the Party fit the description of attackers on the keep. A last minute successful deception by Thurgramm and Party members convinced the guard that they were but humble jewelry merchants in need of some help to get back up on their horse-drawn cart before headed to their next stop. On the way to Hillfar, the Party was ambushed by a pair of Goblins! The fiends were quickly dispatched in valiant acts of combat by Typhon and Vigwalin. A crudely drawn map depicting the local area with some strange, indecipherable runes was recovered. The Party, upon arrival in Hillfar shortly thereafter, decided to stop at The Marvelous Prince Tavern for some refreshments and lodging. As the sun set and the rain began to come down, they listened to the story of one of the townsfolk. He told the Party of recent Goblin raids and of children disappearing into the woods under mysterious circumstances...
