Typhon's powers first manifested as a child when he was assaulted by a group of similarly-aged boys, fire burst from his fingertips and he ended up seriously injuring several of them. Instead of being charged for his crimes
Education
Typhon graduated manga cum laude from his magic school, Terrakis, Institute of the Arcane in Tisarth.
In a final competition during his last year at school, Typhon lost to another student named Elris. The prize was a bag of holding. Despite his loss, Typhon claimed the bag anyway, garnering the ire of the school's administration and Elris in the process.

Typhon is motivated by the ruthless pursuit of wealth. Nothing is free - or easy - in this world. Whenever he's asked for help, Typhon's first question is: what's in it for me?

Typhon has an identical twin brother named Noh'pyt, that makes a living as a warrior. They have always had a competitive relationship, constantly vying for the attention of their father. A number of years ago they had a falling out and haven't spoken since then.
He also has an older brother, Ferrus.
Typhon's father is also a wizard and is extremely wealthy. His father is well known among the Sovereign's Shadow. It has recently come to Typhon's attention that his father is a a grand magus in The Grey Council.
