Session 19
The Party grieved the loss of their colleague, Thurgramm Hammersmith, in the aftermath of their battle with Ovrul Rend's forces in Bellhollow. A quick search of the bodies yielded a part of a street map, which the Party recognized at possibly being part of Silverward. The group decided to give chase, tracking Rend and his ogre companion through several miles of forest. At one point, the group was forced to cross Halinora Creek, nearly drowning in the process. Eventually, the Party arrived at a clearing but decided to hang back in the treeline.
In the center of the clearing they could see a palisade with at least 20 tents and multiple camp fires set up in visible areas. Typhon made the decision to send his owl familiar out to scout for the Party. Through the owl, he saw at least 20 figures, including Rend himself, in the camp area. An unknown number of goblins or other beings were possibly still in their tents asleep. The decision was made to not engage the goblin forces at this time, instead to pass the location to interested parties in The Sovereign's Shadow and Clan Hammersmith.
The Party returned to Bellhollow, to say farewell to Thurgramm one last time. They decided to tell Thali Undersword about the dwarves at Greyhelm, and asked that she take Thurgramm's body there for burial. Thali was amazed at the news of a Hammersmith town located in the mountains once more. She mentioned that she had a Hammersmith cousin and hoped that he would be there. She agreed to take Thurgramm with her, saying that it was only fitting that he be with his people.
The group then decided to head back to Silverward, making a stop in Hillfar for the night back at The Marvelous Prince Tavern...
