Session 1

The Party decided see what kind of magical merchandise they were able to buy in town, and so decided to head into the center of Silverward to Creti's Enchanted Emporium. As soon as they were within in eye shot of the shop, a woman stormed out; she was furious. She was not looking where she was going and bumped into the Party, scolding them for not paying attention. The woman was well dressed, with large golden earrings and a gorgeous red dress. Typhon asked the woman what the issue was and she told them that she was searching for a missing item. She introduced herself as Madelyn Lada and informed the group that someone, most likely The Fool, had stolen a family heirloom. The Party agreed to assist in the investigation and recovery of her necklace in exchange for a reward.   Madelyn informed the group to go around the back through the servant's entrance, so as not to lower her social standing in the neighborhood. Typhon, somewhat offended by her lack of hospitality, took the opportunity to relieve himself on the side of her house near some flower bushes. In the process, Sir Didymus noticed footprints belonging to a medium-sized humanoid, roughly 200 lbs, and some scratch marks up and down the side of the house leading to a window upstairs. Typhon made a sketch of the size of the footprint for future reference. The group, once they were let inside, immediately asked to be taken to that room. That is where the necklace was stolen from, and the Party inquired if anyone else had access to the item or knew of its worth. Madelyn said that her servant did, but that she was too dumb to steal it. The Party asked to interview the servant and Madelyn took the opportunity to go into a different part of the house while the servant was interviewed. The servant, named Talia Elliot, insisted she had nothing to do with its disappearance, but claimed that she had mentioned it to her brother, Oliver, one night while at The Godly Mice Inn. The Party decided to go have a chat with him.   The Party and the servant girl traveled back to the Godly Mice Inn, where they found the servant's brother sitting and enjoying a drink. They confronted him and asked about the missing necklace, convinced that he had somehow been involved in its theft. Typhon attempted to match the brother's boot with the footprint found at the Lada residence, but it was not a match. The brother insisted that he told nobody about the necklace and suggested that they ask anyone else who may have been in the bar that day, including that shifty woman, Berga Dustbrook. The Party felt this was a good thread to pull, and so concocted a plan with Feras Bolgee's help. Now, the Party must wait for Berga to return...
