Juniper
Juniper is a place for hedonism and merriment; a place of the flesh. Located near the east edge of town, off the main road and tucked into a corner - during the day, one could hardly recognize it. At night however, Juniper stirs to life. Raucous laughter, hearty 'hoops and hollers, and cheers of applause spill out into the street as colorful lights diffused through veiled windows dance across the road outside. The interior is dark and choked by haze, smelling of tobacco and ale as music pounds through the pseudo-divided rooms and halls. Many beautiful servers of every kind, clad in naught but their undergarments walk the isles of Juniper, bending at the waist with locked knees to offer customers their "sweet treats". On the main stage, Exotic performers dance to the rhythms of the band, showered by coinage that bounces across the marble and rolls to their feet. Many patrons come for the show, while others come to drink and dance with their friends, content to indulge in the sweet aromas of sweat or alcohol. Some of the young men and women at Juniper are specialists in the art of love and are available for a more intimate encounter, should one possess the means to experience such a delight. Unlike many places, payment is required for entry some nights, depending on the acts or performances they have in town. The reputation of Juniper swings wildly depending on who you ask- either resoundingly positive or harshly negative. Townsfolk of all kinds have had great experiences at Juniper, while others think it to be a stain on the culture. The club is of moderate size. The first floor houses the mainstage - the largest area in Juniper - the bar, and some table seating that could fit probably 30-40 patrons at most. Many are left standing room only. The second floor boasts 3 rooms for additional escapades such as private dances or prostitution. Juniper is famed for its “Pulse Stones,” enchanted crystal fixtures embedded in the walls and ceilings. These stones sync to the beat of the music, glowing and pulsing with vivid colors that intensify the longer the night goes on. Many patrons report feeling their hearts thrum in perfect rhythm with the stones, creating a euphoric sensation that keeps them dancing and drinking until dawn.
Customers
Primarily workers who toil in the mines during the day. Juniper's most busy days are typically when those workers have off work. Unmarried folks, open relationships, and others who would keep their visits a secret are the most frequent visitors.
Menu & Pricing
Primarily alcohol. Service includes some signature cocktails such as the Juicy Juniper, Stage-Freight, and Resphira's Elixir, as well as Triple-M and other ales and wines. Treats and Snacks are also served to the customers, sometimes even for free.
