The Darklake

The Darklake is aptly named for its murky and abysmal waters. Home to a host of terrifying aquatic beasts, travel along the waters surface is a rare occurrence. The Dwarves learned the hard way that the only sure-fire way to travel safely between the captured settlement of Fathom and the Underdeep proper is by gondola. However to spite the odds, a race of aquatic people called the Kuo-Toa seem to have no problems navigating these treacherous waters.
