Lysandus' Crowning

Military action

Lysandus forms an army to take revenge upon those who murdered his father. Upon this victory, he was declared the King of the province and struck a deal with the Sovereignty in order to secure peace for his people.

Lysandus was the last of the Rohan Jarls, as he fulfilled his ancestors wish of independence from the vile dictatorship of Shesire's Sovereignty. He was promptly named the King of Rohan, his followers made up of the Mirran who survived the Pact of Flame, the Ashen who felt their transformation was unjustified and an odd bunch of foreigners who didn't fit back home.   This came about from the Scarlet Legion invading his land and killing his father, the previous jarl. With the land being stormed by Shesire's fury, Lysandus walked the streets of every town calling all who would fight for their freedom to follow him. His army started merely with himself and grew to 6,481 by the time dawn broke. Although mostly unskilled peasants, their passion for independence made up for their lack of training, and under Lysandus' experience as a general he matched the army to force the Scarlet Legion to surrender.   To prevent further bloodshed and retaliation, Lysandus in his might and cunning struck a deal to found the Institute of Lysandus to supply soldiers to the Scarlet Legion for the Sovereignty. Unbeknown to the Sovereignty this made the soldiers feel a connection to the Rohan Kingdom and make them less likely to willingly fight them.
