Humans are the numerically dominant race on Mendala, making up over 70% of the population. They are the most diverse of the major races both physically and mentally.

Physical Characteristics

Humans have the most diverse range of skin tones, eye colors, and hair colors. Humans typically range from 1.5 to 2 meters in height and come in a wide variety of body types. Their physical diversity is what sets humans apart from dwarves and elves which both have distinct physical traits inherent to their races. Humans are also the only race that physically age gradually and consistently according to their adimus rank.

Adimus Capabilities

Humans are the only race that can produce every known adimus rank, though nearly 60% are born mentants. Like their physical characteristics, humans have the widest mentus diversity but the shallowest adimus energy pools. This means that they can use the most diverse mentus but have the least amount of adimus energy of all races. They also have an average adimus immune system, not as high as elves, but higher than dwarves.
Humans can use their adimus to permanently change their eye and hair color, an ability unique to their race. In addition, human women can control their own fertility and whether or not they can conceive, while human men can control the sex of their offspring. This is one of the reasons why humans are able to reproduce so much easier than other races.
