When visiting the city of Nesrum, no place gathers attention in quite the same way as the Honeydew Ward. This busy area is known for its lovely little shops, a theatre, taverns and entertainment establishments, as well as several opportunities, to purchase different types of intoxicants and some lovely company to spend some time with for a bit of coin.
Defences
Due to the close proximity to the pearl farms and amount of wealthy citizens tourists in the area, Honeydew Ward is well defended and has more guards around than some other parts of the city. Though this might also have to do with a certain amount of disorganization that comes with the area being such heavily focused on overall merriment.
Assets
For an average visitor, the Cath Cerlyn Theatre, little cafés, restaurants, an art market, dances on streets after sunset, shrines for elven gods of arts and love and lovely taverns are often called the main attraction of the Honeydew Ward, but there are many less publicly talked about attractions that reel in visitors. Honeydew ward has a good selection of establishments for entertainment and company, one of the more famous ones being the Coyster brothel. It is also a place where one can pretty easily purchase lawfully some exotic alcohols, as well as narcotics.
Tourism
As the Nesrum has grown, Honeydew ward has grown to amuse the tourists as well as the locals, giving the town that big city feel. It is a favoured spot by those travelling by, looking for something to lighten up the mood after all the hard travel.
Architecture
Buildings of Honeydew Ward tend to be relatively new, and particularly ornate, as the district was meant to become a leisure area in the first place. Buildings are elegant and very charming, with light colours, tall windows and rounded, tall roofs.
