Ceanell is one of the High Elf families of Islenorian decent. It is considered one of the lesser old families. Name is most prominent in Lands of Summer Fields in Empire of Islenor.
Name is considered to come from name Celanil of the love goddess Hanali Celanil. There are indications of the family having a history with the goddess, and having several priestesses amongst their line. This connection has been weakening for several generations. These days, family is more known to their connection to Labelas Enoreth, whom is considered as the protector Deity of the family.
