The Crown lands of Demia is founded by Birka the Strong-Voiced and her lieutenants with Birka becoming the first Ekärti and her top four generals becoming the heads of the other holds.
Ekärti Birka I is proclaimed the first ruler of the Crown Lands of Demia. Her reign would last until her death in the year 34 of the Liberty Era.
Ekärti Gina I Smökjyt is crowned as Ekärti of the Crown lands of Demia following the death of her mother Ekärti Birka I. Her reign would continue until her death in the year 70 LE.
Ekärti Sindeng I Smökjyt is named Ekärti following the death of his mother Ekärti Gina I Smökjyt. Sindeng was the first man to hold the title as well as the first Ekärti to have been born in Demia rather than Learbof. This, along with his mixed Domi and Bulyute parentage, has lead to Sindeng being called the first Demian by some historians.
The Freehold Revolution, also known as the Demian Civil War, began with the battle of the Hyljin. The war would ravage Demia for the next twelve years.
