The Crown lands of Demia is founded by Birka the Strong-Voiced and her lieutenants with Birka becoming the first Ekärti and her top four generals becoming the heads of the other holds.
After the last elven armies are driven out of Demia, the Crown Lands are formally established. Birka was elected as the first Ekärti by unanimous vote and took Tharsa and the surrounding lands as her own. The lands of Notyodl Hold were given to Svendrir Smoke-sheild, the lands of Mubaf Hold were given to Alsvar Bear-Hide, the lands of Kazalot Hold were given to Kirva, and the lands of Mubaf Hold were given to Valdran.
