Confessions of Gaspar Figueroa

The Confessions of Gaspar Figueroa are a document kept at the Museo de Arqueología y Antropología de Peru of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. They are the last confessions of a conquistador named Gaspar Figueroa who came to Peru with Pizarro in the mid-16th century. In it, he relates how he, Luis de Mendoza, and 3 others entered the Pyramid Tomb southwest of Lake Titicaca, damaging the Golden Ward, and partially freeing El Padre de los Gusanos, thus creating the Kharisiri. Trinidad Rizo was preparing notes about it for the Investigators when she was killed by de Mendoza.
