Golden Ward

The Golden Ward is a "Spell set in gold" that was fashioned to keep El Padre de los Gusanos trapped under the Pyramid Tomb. When part of it was pried out in the mid-16th century by Luis de Mendoza and his fellow conquistadors, it allowed some of the essence of El Padre de Los Gusanos to leak out, creating the Kharisiri. The fragment came into the hands of the Museo de Arqueología y Antropología de Peru of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. It was recovered from there by the Investigators, who took it to the Pyramid Tomb and repaired it ,sealing El Padre de los Gusanos away more thoroughly.
