Herr Burckhardt
Herr Burckhardt is a knight in the service of the Margrave of Rabenwald. Along with nine other members of the retinue, he rode from Schloss Rabenwald to Wunschau as a result of a letter written to the margrave by Reinhard der Schreiber, where the latter informed him of an attempt to remove Wolff the Miller - the appointed Vogt - from power. The knights helped drive back a mob of rioters after their arrival, and then established a close surveillance of the city and its gates.
The following day, Herr Burckhardt was watching the holiday procession in the square, and then got together for a few words with Reinhard in the Rathskeller. After Reinhard gave the knight more details about the plans promoted by Hilda, Commander of the Wunschau City Watch, Burckhardt asked Reinhard whether his companion Franz would be capable of taking command of the watch.
