Edelweiss

Edelweiss is an elfin woman who appeared to the party in Wunschau around the time of All Saint's Day. She had apparently left edelweiss flowers in Cilly's hand, on Eddi's gate, and at Franz's family residence, and had spoken to Cilly and  Eddi telepathically, before manifesting herself in a luminous white cloak the following day. When speaking telepathically, she seems to have two voices - a female, and a male one. She has a knack for disappearing into thin air, and reappearing just as suddenly.   Subsequently, she appeared in front of Eddi's gate, and had a conversation with the party, where she implied that she was related to all three of the people for whom she left flowers. She did not specify how she was related to them, but insisted that deep down, they knew, and added that she had been watching over them for their entire life. She entered into a debate with Dietmar, in which she called him "Priest" and mocked his demand for clarity, and his need to clearly separate genders and worlds, to insist that each person is only one being, and that there is only one god. Before she left, she said that if the three wanted to learn more about their heritage, they would meet her at a cairn in the woods, where the veil between their world and Albenheim was at its thinnest.
