Silver Dagger
A silver dagger may seem inconspicuous, but to the Order of the Silverblade, it is often used as a means of identifying, not only each other, but to which chapter you belong. The daggers, themselves, are the basis for many of the hand gestures used in Abreric Runes. A dagger, itself, can be dictated by another object, such as a pen, in some circumstances, or more simple gestures using the pointer and middle finger.
Shield Brethren
Daggers owned by the Shield Brethren of the Silverblade have a rear bolster shaped like a shield. The blade is simple and straight. Some of the hilts have numeric carvings in them, accumulated over time, dictioned using Abreric Runes. If the owner of the dagger has saved a life or rescued an ally of the Silverblade, the tally represents the number of allies that owe that member their life.Crimson Court
The Crimson Court have red wooden tangs with blood dripping carved into them. The blade curves like a snake, and is curved inwards at the tip. The blade of the Crimson Court symbolizes their nature of deceit, and the snake is symbolic of their separation and antagonism against the other chapters of the Order of the Silverblade.
