Ulgoine Valley
The Ulgoine Valley sits at the center of the lands East of The Everstorm Sea. The valley is pinched between the Immreth Mountains in the Northeast and The Orods in the West. The valley slopes into the vertex of the two mountain ranges and is home to the Ulgos Jungle. The jungle is fed by the waters that drain down through the valley. The waters eventually coalesce into a singular river that splits the two mountain ranges with a canyon river rapids that drains out into Nystor's Path. The Southeast head of the valley in capped off by the Bleaksteppe.
During the Age of Heroism, the Ulgoine Valley was home to four kingdoms:
The nomadic Chinew Peoples were collectively seen as a single entity but acted as each independent goblin, orc, hobgoblin, or bugbear tribe desired. Raids were not uncommon upon the other peoples. Despite this, they were not reckless. Tersule suffered the least amount of conflict with the Chinew Peoples because their exposed position gave them the greatest motivation to strike back. Most of the raids were done to the outerlands of Kag Bhurim and the Lothin Diarchy. When possible, the raiders would utilize equipment stolen from the opposite end of the valley in a bid to work the gnomes and dwarves against one another.
By the end of the Age of Heroism, the peoples of the Ulgoine Valley were devastated. The combination of infighting, warlords, and the ramifications of the Fields of Ichor in 973 AH left the civilizations as shadows of their former selves. Tersule crumbled with all remaining folk leaving the lands. The gnomes of the Lothin Diarchy had started the colonization of what would be Lacington before the demon war. What few made it to the other side of the war gave up on the diarchy and either scattered with the humans of Tersule or were granted sanctuary within Kag Bhurim. A majority of the Chinew People scattered from the lands when the Fields of Ichor began. Those that stayed guided the defense of the Bleaksteppe as a turning point of the war. With Tersule crumbled, the survivors of the Chinew Peoples would eventually move into the lower valley and replace the humans of Tersule. The tribes that abandoned valley would eventually return to the Bleaksteppe. The two halves would never reunite.
After the Age of Isolation ended, over half of the Dwarves of Kag Bhurim and all of the gnomish refugees would move down to New Derth. A new Age of Community had begun, but it had not taken well in the Ulgoine Valley. The remaining dwarves consolidated into the capitol of Dul Kag and isolated themselves. While the monstrous folk of the old Tersule attempted to build a new civilization around a rebaptized Harfolk Sanctuary, the world would not seem them that way. The tribes of Bleaksteppe grew into a single entity: the Horde of the Risen Caste.

- Tersule: Human Kingdom in the center of the valley
- Kag Bhurim: Dwarven Kingdom of the Northern Valley and the Immreth Mountians based out of the mountain Thjoldmondr
- Lothin Diarchy: Gnomish kingdom based out of the Orods
- The Chinew Peoples: Confederacy of different goblinoid and orc tribes based out of Bleaksteppe
