Arsenii Trofimovich
Arsenii is the 15 year-old son of Prince Trofim Andreevich of Ladeisk. He is the prince's youngest son, and was encountered during the run up to the diplomatic mission to the Grand Prince of Galinda. The intention is to have Arsenii marry the Grand Prince's daughter, Genute, in order to cement an alliance between the two states, and to get the Grand Prince to send an army to help Trofim Andreevich deal with the Kochmaki and the wolf horde of Grey Wolf. He subsequently accompanied the Serpent Slayers on their mission to Laima.
Arsenii is in many ways a golden boy. Though still quite young, he is a skilled rider and marksman, and has shown capacity as a student of languages. He is also quite charismatic, speaks easily with those older and more experienced than himself, and is quite enthusiastic to prove himself as a warrior and his father's representative. He does not tolerate any disrespectful treatment from those of lower status, however. Additionally, he is a bit of a risk-taker, and put himself in danger during the fight with the mud people. He has also expressed a desire to have amorous adventures along the way, which may endanger his reputation (and perhaps, the mission as a whole).
Arsenii is quite tall for his age, well-built, and with an impressive head of golden curls.
